The contract for the design of six prestressed insitu ramps together with the production of shop drawings and segment catalogues for 4400 precast segments.

Tony Gee was also employed to advise the contractor on the most economical form of construction for the 330 spans and were retained to provide specialist advice throughout the construction period. Construction rates of nine spans per week were required to meet the demanding programme.

Tony Gee carried out the detailed design for the insitu ramp structures, which had minimum radii of 20 metres. Our scope also included the design of the casting cells.
