Another award win for Dawlish

Dawlish Sea Wall continued its run of award success by winning the prestigious Judge’s Special Award at the British Construction Industry Awards. The award was presented to the project team at a ceremony held at Grosvenor House in London.

The prize is awarded to a UK or international project of any size which the judges consider to be particularly inspirational in one or more aspects. The Judges commented that the project demonstrated “a true team working approach to solving a regional disaster”

Tony Gee was the lead designer for the challenging repair works to the sea wall following severe storms in February 2014. Further details about our involvement at Dawlish can be found here.
