The ICE International Brunel lecture series was established in 1999 in memory of the iconic Isambard Kingdom Brunel, one of the figureheads of the UK’s Industrial Revolution.
The Asian tour of the lectures visited Hong Kong, Shanghai, Bangkok and Singapore and centred around emergency management. Entitled ‘From Risk to Resilience: Practise Made Perfect?’ they provided attendees with a unique and region-specific perspective on emergency management and the neuralgic role engineers play in extreme scenarios.

Tony Gee will also be sponsoring an ICE lecture hosted in Malaysia later this year.
