What attracted you to work at Tony Gee?

I found this apprenticeship on www.apprenticeships.gov.uk when I was at sixth form, I always knew that I wanted to get into the construction industry and do engineering but I wasn’t so sure about going to university. Almost four years on I have since finished my apprenticeship; I have an NVQ and a BTEC level 3 in Civil Engineering, have almost completed a HNC in Civil Engineering and most importantly have gained lots of experience. I learn new things on a regular basis and can really see myself building a successful career here.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy coming to work and since completing my apprenticeship I have been given more responsibility and have been getting involved with implementing BIM within the company as well as providing CAD support to others within the organization which I really enjoy.

What do you think about the social side of Tony Gee? What activities do you take part in?

I usually go to our company socials. We play football occasionally. We have also had football tournaments which have been organized and sponsored by Tony Gee. There have been some ICE and RedR ones. The last one I went to we came second out of 16 teams which isn’t too bad!
