About the role
We are looking for an ambitious Civil Engineering Technician, with a good knowledge of highways, earthworks and drainage schemes to complement the Civil Engineering team in our Glasgow office. You will be using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Infraworks to produce accurate designs. Your role will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working across a multitude of engineering sectors such as Energy, Highways and Rail Sectors.
Suitable candidates will have excellent communication skills and be keen to work within a team developing their skills whilst supporting Civil Engineers. You will have a good initial understanding of roads, earthworks and drainage schemes and be confident of carrying out design works using Civils 3D. Applicants will be expected to hold an HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification with at least three years’ experience in Infrastructure design of Highways, access tracks and drainage.
