Civil and Railway Engineering Technician Apprentices
As an apprentice at Tony Gee, you’ll be in regular contact with the Learning and Development Manager, whilst being assigned a mentor who will guide you through your professional development. This is an incomparable opportunity to put your creativity and imagination to the test, working on inspiring and complex projects across the UK, and providing technical support to consulting engineers across the business. Workload is divided between the design of permanent works, the development of temporary works and construction methodology together with design of any specialist equipment necessary to build the structure. Projects could vary between sectors including rail, bridge and building construction, marine, highway, aviation, power, commercial and industrial.
The apprenticeship will run over a two year period during which you will undertake a supervised programme of training and college day release, which leads to Technician Membership of a relevant professional Institution. There is the opportunity to go onto further study, enabling you to be qualified to HNC and/or degree level and achieve higher professional status.
