Pembroke Power Station is a state-of-the-art 2000MW combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) industrial facility. It is the largest power station in the UK comprising of five generating units, enough to power 3 million homes.

Tony Gee designed the temporary works for the excavation of the 5 Condensate Pits and 5 Blow Down pits at Pembroke Power Station.

These works were undertaken within a very tight programme. It was Tony Gee’s previous good record of working with Alstom that led to our appointment and our speedy response, thus saving the client procurement costs and programme time. Our ability to accurately interpret the geological conditions correctly overcame the engineering problems and saved the client any unnecessary costs.
