After a successful application and interview, Susie has been offered a role on the WYWB, whose main purpose is to act as a ‘sounding board’ for the main WISE board.
The WYWB will be able to inform the campaign strategy through drawing on the ideas and views of young women studying and working in STEM.
Susie will also be acting as a WISE ambassador within Tony Gee, where she will attend and speak at various media events.
Speaking about joining the WISE Young Women’s Board, Susie stated ‘I am really pleased to be given a position on the WISE Young Women’s Board and am looking forward to help drive the campaign forwards.
It’s really important to showcase the benefits of a career in STEM subjects and I hope to be a big part of inspiring the next generation into this area, particularly in engineering.’
