Tony Gee will be providing design services to BAM Nuttall along with our design partners ARUP and COWI, who have recently been awarded a renewals and enhancements framework by Network Rail covering Scotland and the North East of England.
The framework is valued at £320m, and is part of Network Rail’s planned £4bn investment in their UK wide infrastructure during the next railway control period (CP6) between 2019 and 2024.
The works will involve a wide range of projects including structures replacement and renewals, and ongoing improvements and enhancement works to stations across the rail network.
Tony Gee’s Rail Group Director, Gordon Nobbs said “Tony Gee has successfully worked with BAM Nuttall as part of their team delivering the advance clearance works for the Shotts Electrification Project over the past five years.
We are delighted to be supporting them again on this CP6 Framework. The contract award is recognition of the excellent work that the team has been doing, and demonstrates that our ethos of collaborative behaviours with a strong engineering emphasis on buildable design continues to be successful.”
