Liverpool Pier Head is the focus of the city, a World Heritage site, and unusually the historic ferries Royal Daffodil, Royal Iris and Snowdrop themselves form part of the heritage listing.
A design has been prepared for new dolphin piles, replacement of berthing pontoon and fendering systems with architect designed waiting areas, access brows and shore works to the grade 1 listed Pier Head at Liverpool, to replace a temporary pontoon currently used for the famous Mersey Ferry landing. Client Balfour Beatty has been instructed to undertake Stage 2 Construction.
Design support for the hull design, architecture, dredging advice and specialist M&E works has been provided by Tony Gee’s team consultants.
